WHAT IS S&E COATINGS?
S&E Coatings is a certified military CARC paint shop that was born out of military manufacturing relationships that span back multiple generations. S&EC specializes in low volume CARC painting and is a certified General Dynamics painter.

BENEFITS
- CARC stands for Chemical Agent Resistant Coatings. Meaning it’s more than just camouflage. It is used by the United States Army, Marine Corps as well as on rotary-wing aircraft and helicopters. CARC is critical for troop survivability in the field due to both camouflage capabilities as well as chemical and biological agent resistance.
- CARC paint is non-absorbent meaning chemical agents such as saran cannot be absorbed into the coating. Vehicles are easily decontaminated by washing with a solution such as DS2.
- In addition to CARC’s ability to camouflage and reject chemical agents is its ability to manage its infrared signature. Each color in CARC’s camouflage system includes a special pigment that gives off the same IR signature as chlorophyll. Vehicles painted using the CARC system will blend in with the surrounding area and will be rendered “invisible” by MANPADs and many shoulder fired missiles.
